 There was a grand ceremony on 16 November 2011 for the reopening of the newly renovated SATS Premier Check-in Lounge at Terminal 1. SATS invested over $300k to refresh the check-in lounge with the design vision to create a more vibrant and communicative space that embodied the minimalist style of “zen” impression, providing more exclusivity and premium styling. The existing space is redesigned to allow direct access to passengers and minimize congestion. The group seating and furniture type are selected to provide flexibility and choice for passengers. 3-D rose feature wallpaper is used extensively in the lounge to add a luxury feel.
